The fascination for the sharpest and most durable knives has been in our family for the past four generations.

We are two brothers, realizing their dream by making their passion into their profession: selling hand-forged and high-quality knives and the accompanying equipment. Because of the high demand for durable and sustainable products, we believe to be a company of the future.

At “Erste Schmiede” we also sell knives from our international partners, which are mostly small forges located in Europe and Asia (like Japan). All the products that we offer to our customers have been tested by us and are according to our quality standards.
